“Leopard is still OSX, an operating system that released ~6 years ago, which at that time was incompatible with a lot of OS 9 apps and required people to dualboot. Leopard is OS X with a few bug patches and apps thrown on top. In the Windows world this would be called a service pack. Apple charges you for their service packs. Think about it.”
