Underappreciated people underperform
December 27, 2015Managers take note: Money isn’t necessarily a motivator, but rather a representation of of some level of appreciation – the degree of which depends on many factors, not just the size of the monetary award. And worthless made-up awards are the equivalent of “Employee of the Month”. Don’t get it twisted.
This is a great article that delves into the value of true employee appreciation and what you can do to show it.
