Blocking & Filtering Twitter on Android & Windows in 2023
September 16, 2023If you use Android, there’s a wicked way to eliminate the worst features/annoyances of Twitter including ads (Yes, it removes the ads), the stupid “for you” tab, the black X logo replacing the blue Twitter bird logo, etc.
It’s involves installing a plug-in for Firefox BETA on Android called, “Control Panel for Twitter”. Read about how to download & install it on your Android installation of Firefox BETA.

Incidentally, this also works for Windows desktops using Microsoft Edge. Twitter switched to using the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge browser, so when you “install” Twitter from the Microsoft Store, you’re just getting a PWA in Edge.
